the chair of obama's national campaign finance committee

hates workers. she wants them toast....literally.
it was already approaching 100° at 8 a.m. when I arrived at the park hyatt where, after 22 months of stalled negotiations, hotel workers were staging a one-day picket to protest the hotel chain's intolerable treatment of their housekeeping staff.

In case you didn't know, hyatt is owned by the pritzker family. heiress penny sue pritzker chairs obama's national campaign finance committee. she is also big player in democratic party politics as well as in the world of anti-union, corporate school reform and was recently appointed by mayor rahm emanuel to a seat on the chicago school board.

pritzker's response to the park hyatt strikers was to turn on the hotel's powerful heating lamps to try and bake the workers into submission on this brutally hot day. but this seemingly inhuman and probably illegal response seemed to have had just the opposite effect. picketers began chanting, "hyatt can't take the heat, but we can!" the lamps were left on until word got out and media began to show up. - mike klonsky's smalltalk blog

I doubt any Pritzker was anywhere near the switch (let alone the hotel) that day. FWIW, her brother was Hillary's finance guru for her prez run. Klonsky can take his Obama bashing by proxy and shove it where the sun don't shine.

liberal group upset over potential cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security delivered pledges Friday to President Barack Obama's national campaign headquarters threatening to pull its support.
About a dozen people representing the Progressive Change Campaign Committee delivered what they said were 200,000 pledges from people who will refuse to donate or volunteer for Obama's re-election campaign if he cuts the entitlement programs.
Obama has been taking heat from the left over the debt ceiling negotiations, in which he has been willing to target the long-standing programs. His approach is certain to sit better with independent voters, many of whom have told pollsters they want Washington politicians to work together to solve the big problems.

It was just reported NOW on the local news that teh hotel manager ordered the heat lamps to be turned on. "Disciplinary action" is due shortly.

So it looks like Klonsky is a LIAR!

Does that asswipe really think that ANY Pritzker would leave their South Wacker Drive office to go to North Michigan Ave. just to turn on a circuit breaker?

What a putz!

Obama bashing is getting lame.
