virginia gives the president, democrats...

those who have no health insurance and america, a big middle finger.
a spokesman for virginia attorney general ken cuccinelli 2 (r) said this afternoon that virginia will file suit against the federal government if the democratic health care reform bill is approved by the u.s. congress.

....virginia last week became the first state in the country to pass a state bill declaring it illegal for the government to require individuals to purchase health insurance, a key part of bills under consideration on capitol hill. - wapo
i thought the rethugs were into tort reform and were against frivolous lawsuits.
i thought the rethugs were all into the respecting the presidential office.

no. they just want people to die so their friends and donors can make money off of the corpses.

un*effing*believable

They should just add a little fine print addendum to the health care bill that reads:

* Except for the State of Virginia

I think after yesterday's incident in St. Louis with the Parkinson's sufferer and this, we can just combine the GOP and the Teabaggers and just call them the "Cripple Kickers." It'd save a lot of time and effort.

This is one more example of why I keep voting Democratic, even though these jackasses often piss me off. This far-right-wing nonsense is the kind of shit you can end up with when the so-called Democratic base stays home on election day.

I tried being an idealist and a political progressive for a few years. Didn't work out. I'm into pragmatism now. It's only been this way for a short while, but I've found that this works a hell of a lot better than the old way...
