those corporate pigs

just let them get the flu. while some hospitals and municipalities had shortages...the ruling elite apparently got the vaccine even though they were not in the high risk group.

when the swine flu vaccine was most scarce, health officials gave thousands of doses to corporate clinics at walt disney world, toyota, defense contractors, oil companies and cruise lines, according to a usa today review of vaccine distribution data from three states.

usa today examined how state health departments distributed h1n1 vaccine after public outcry last month over wall street firms such as goldman sachs receiving doses while doctors and hospitals encountered shortages. - ustoady

just another illustration on how we have the best healthcare system in the world if you can afford it, you work in the right place, you know the right people and you are in with the ruling elite.

What a bunch of sheep. It seemed like when the swine flu first "broke out" it was a bunch of hysteria drummed up by the media and the vaccine companies anyway. And now that millions of dollars have been made on a vaccine that has never been tested in the first place, this H1N1 is just another footnote until next "flu season".

where did h1n1 swine flu

I don't have a problem with the notion of trying to to stave off a pandemic by giving shots to WORKERS in industries either vital to our national interests such as air traffic controllers or military personnel or even defense plant workers as we're in a war, or for those in key intersect areas such as teachers, pilots and flight attendants, even cruiseline staff and airport workers -- but to give it these puddyankers whose very deaths would as likely IMPROVE our economy as not and who at the very least are more likely to be able to work from home if they hear so much as a sniffle in the lobby of the building they work in...!?! WTF is wrong with Obama's people that they just don't get it. Keep this up and the execs at Goldman Sachs are going to NEED those guns they've been buying.

Safer not to take that vaccine, in my opinion. My doctors did not recommend it.

I got mine yesterday, and for 24 hrs. have lived to tell about it. I just hope it's actually effective -- I'm in a high-risk group (asthma) and have taken the conventional vaccine for many years, but I've still gotten the flu a few times anyway, and even pneumonia early this year.

But it's a bit revolting that a bunch of rich putzes got it even before the children of the poor did.

Belatedly, to mahakal:

It's a crap shoot. I've never liked the idea of taking even the conventional vaccine. But I found out firsthand, early this year, what a live virus can lead to. Bacterial pneumonia, as a complication of viral flu, has killed a lot of people. It can be best, at least for some of us, to try to minimize the chance of illness.
