raise your glass

or...uhm...maybe not.
more than 20 percent of the nation’s water treatment systems have violated key provisions of the safe drinking water act over the last five years, according to a new york times analysis of federal data.

that law requires communities to deliver safe tap water to local residents. but since 2004, the water provided to more than 49 million people has contained illegal concentrations of chemicals like arsenic or radioactive substances like uranium, as well as dangerous bacteria often found in sewage. - nytimes

I have a huge number of chemical allergies. I left the united states partially because of the poisons in the food.

To the best of my knowledge, there is nowhere in the US that I can drink regular tap water. I have to drink, distilled water.

Food, try living on Hebrew National wieners, an off brand of crackers that is only sold at wal-mart, Tillamook cheese and distilled water.

If you really want poisons go into into any hospital and breathe deeply. I worked in a health pills factory and had to wear a respirator and moon suit. That is out on the end of protecting the employee, but the staff at all american hospital's are risking their lives working there. When I have to start using my breathing tube meds 5 minutes into the registration process, that means heavy poisons.

There are measures of maximum allowable out there. Someone did a study based on the umbilical cords from mothers and children born in hospital in a section of New Jersey. They were specifically checking for common dangerous chemicals. The frightening answer was that they doubted the first set of tests and ran it again. Not one, Not 2, Not 3, but every damn umbilical cord tested positive for every chemical they were checking for. Smile, pat your children on the head while you have the chance before the poisons have destroyed the gene pool.
