math

forty republicans plus joe lieberman control the filibuster, and no good health care reform can pass the senate. there isn't and was never any possibility of it, except under reconciliation rules.

At minimum, we have four apparently unsolvable problems: a Republican party that has no heart, a Democratic party that has no spirit, a mainstream media that has no soul, and an American voting public that has no brain.

Good luck trying to fix all that...

The sad thing is that 10 less people in the congress and the senate would make such a difference to the 40 to 60 million medically needy americans. There really is evil in the world. Just casual evil perpetrated by people that feel that they are religious so it is all right to be evil.

How many atheists are fighting health care for all?
