"the whites of their eyes"

that part of a simple phrase has had a long historical reference in this country. it really is not used in any other manner in this country. "the whites of their eyes" is part of a call for action to kill. to kill those who opposed us.
on june 17, 1775 the battle of bunker hill took place. it is one of the most important colonial victories in the u.s. war for independence. fought during the siege of boston, it lent considerable encouragement to the revolutionary cause. this battle made both sides realize that this was not going to be a matter decided on by one quick and decisive battle. when the british planned to occupy dorchester heights on the boston peninsula, the colonists became alarmed at the build up of british troops off of the coast. the colonists decided that action had to be taken so as to stop the threatening british movement in this territory to protect themselves from an attack. the battle of bunker hill started when the colonists learned about the british plan to occupy dorchester heights. the colonists were understandably shaken by this news. they thought of this as the last straw, and they had to protect their land and freedom.

...as the colonists saw this massive red line approach slowly and steadily, they remained calm and did not open fire. the fact they waited so long to commence an attack was that general prescott has been assumed to have given the famous order, "don't shoot until you see the whites of their eyes." - the american revolution
but knowing that historical reference taught in american history classes throughout the centuries and throughout the country and you add in some more references to the american revolution, i think that someone intends to incite some "violence" (i.e., revolutionary action) with those who are being fed day in and day out that the white house is now occupied with the antichrist...a socialist...a communist...a terrorist...a kenyan...a czar maker...a wealth distributor...a freedom taker...a taker of healthcare...an appointer of "kill grandma death panels." sure, one could ask folks to come protest against passage of the bill, but instead they want people to chant "kill the bill."
"i'm asking people to come to washington d.c. by the carload, and next thursday at noon i'll be at a press conference on the steps of the capitol. i'd love to have every one of your viewers join me so we can go up and down through the halls, find members of congress, look at the whites of their eyes and say, 'don't take away my healthcare!'"

"this is our liberty and tyranny moment. this is it. this is about patriotism, and manning up. - buzzflash

"...it was thomas jefferson who said a revolution every now and then is a good thing. what do you think?"

...this is hardly the first time bachmann has spoken of revolution. back in march, she famously told sean hannity: "at this point the american people - it's like thomas jefferson said, a revolution every now and then is a good thing. we are at the point, sean, of revolution. and by that, what i mean, an orderly revolution -- where the people of this country wake up get up and make a decision that this is not going to happen on their watch...and we can't let the democrats achieve their ends any longer." - talking points memo
"remember some of the other battles: lexington and concord, hamburger hill, pork chop hill?" said rep. steve king (r-iowa). "we're not going to leave this hill until we kill this bill!" - wapo
republicans are masters of the buzzword. the memes of hate. and they are being broadcast widely on faux news and talking head shows.

many may disagree with me. that's fine. but, i believe that words do have meanings and there are those out there who, after hearing the constant calls to "protect their freedom", "defend their country," feel they have no option other than take up arms against those who they feel are "against america." if someone feels that certain politicians are calling them for another bloody revolutionary war, they just might take them up on it.

The USA is now an anti-white third world shit hole.

It's every man for himself now.

Enjoy!

There are some who feel that if they are not at the head of the table, that gives them the right to burn down the whole house.

The situation may look bleak right now, but on the whole we are moving in a principled, sane direction.

Yes, you are right to "read" this phrase as a call to violence.

We should be demanding transparency and accountability from our elected representatives.

Good luck to the bitter, paranoid poster above me as he or she struggles against the tyranny of a democratic republic. (Snark implied)

"Well, well, well" as R L Burnside used to say.

Wow, may I point out to you people that there are over 300 million people in the United States and there are less than 20 people who stand between americans and decent health care? I feel the 40000 dying each year from lack of insurance would be perfectly justified in taking a politician with them.

There are less than 50 people who stand between the US and peace. I feel that the parents of any only child that died in useless wars should get a free shot at the gutless lawmakers that scream for war, war, war.

I have no objection to thinning the herd but let's concentrate on cleaning up a couple of minor problems first.

Then we can sit down and figure out how to solve the complicated issues such as the Supreme Joke is now totally controlled by the pope.

Exactly why shouldn't any estate over $3 million not be seized? Why aren't more lawyers killed?
Why shouldn't every lawmaker, judge, cop or civil servant be recorded all of the time on to a permanent recorder? Why shouldn't the catholic, mormon and baptist churches be audited?

Just my pet peeves.

Feel free to have a stroke.
