what is it?
by my count, i've quit blogging four times so far. and i've come back four times. obviously, i am not to be trusted -- yet some people keep supporting and/or putting up with me. go figure.
really, go figure. what is it about me that still keeps people giving me the time of day? it certainly isn't my {sarcasm/on} sunny disposition. {sarcasm/off} so what is it?
i'm serious. what do you people see in me?

We're all effed in the head, every single on of us, to one degree or another. I've been so disgusted with politics now and again and now again, it's not like a deep mystery to empathize with at least that aspect of you. And who among us can imagine blogging full time, from now thru eternity. It's not like the big bucks are rolling in.

I was going to say, a mirror, but the coffee has advised me that it is not yet operational. Later.
the truth is there are a lot of us out here that often feel like we are alone in a sea of insanity. Cast adrift, tossed by tsunamis of stupid. When we find a bit of sanity flotsam we cling to it in hope of not going under.
Agree or disagree with everything you say is not as important as knowing that there are other rational folks bobbing along in the debris that America has become.

You speak from your heart, Jim. It's a rare thing.
only four?
You are moody yet entertaining......
frankdawg, ditto, in spades.
You really haven't changed since I've been lurking. Way too many of my favorites become so much like the "news" organizations, that I have quit reading them.

Dude,
You're not the Lone Ranger. We all get fed up with the bullshit. We ALL want to quit caring about watching our rights and democracy go down the toilet.

You're the opposite of all those superpretentious bloggers, especially but not exclusively some conservative political ones.
We like you, Jim, and you have interesting things to say, and you say them well.
So there.

Oh, did you quit and come back again?
Even your insistence that voting for people that will only elect Republicans is tolerable because your heart is in the right place. Now if we can get the Rs to vote for people with no chance maybe we can sneak a few real liberals thorough.
