then again, lieberman would have sounded even stupider if he said "beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice!"

joe lieberman, responding to alec baldwin's threat to move to connecticut to run against the independent senator, quoted clint eastwood:

former democrat sen. joe lieberman of connecticut has a simple message for hollywood actor alec baldwin: bring it on.

asked sunday on cnn's state of the union about baldwin’s recent comments that he might move to connecticut and mount a challenge to lieberman because, as baldwin told playboy magazine, “i have no use for [lieberman],” the independent senator responded, “you know, make my day.”

putting aside the lame centerfold joke, we'd advise joe lieberman to try to use a quote from one of baldwin's films, if he really wanted to drive home his imperviousness to the actor's throw-down.

but, to be fair to joe, there aren't that many famous alec baldwin lines, short of screaming @ his 11 year old daughter.
