fans line up to say goodbye to sarah palin's career

thousands of sarah palin fans have applied for free tickets to the memorial service of the her political career, while more fans continue to mourn at her wasilla home -- despite reports that the governor's career is not officially over.

the service, set for tuesday, will be held at the staples center, a sports arena located in downtown los angeles.

about 17,500 free tickets were offered on the arena's website early friday evening, and massive demand caused a server crash. they were only available to u.s. citizens.

the los angeles police department is already setting up security measures for the memorial. according to local reports, 1,400 officers will be keeping a careful eye on the crowds.

palin's family has released few details about the service, except to say the governor's career will not be at the memorial.

outside the city in wasilla, crowds continue to gather at the home of the self-proclaimed "queen of alaska", some bringing chairs and even pitching tents. but according to the alaskan daily news, the town is not conducting any events until after tuesday's ceremony. -- ctv.ca...kind of...

Palin’s move just puts yet more pressure on Obama to finally get some results, as the soaring rhetoric isn’t hypnotizing the plebes like it used to. This week Helen Thomas, Colin Powell, and Warren Buffet all turned on him. Polls are looking droopy for The One lately.

Obama’s porkulus program is a train wreck, all it’s done is bump interest rates and tank the dollar. We are being laughed at by bad guys like Tehran, Pyongyang, and Al Qaida who amazingly turned-down Barack’s timid friend-requests.

Palin could trounce him in 2012, when Americans would vote for the Gipper-in-Heels in droves- while begging for lower taxes, free enterpise, a defense posture with some backbone… an end to the radical, anti-American nightmare we’ve got now.

Go get ‘em Sarah-

I can't recall its subject, but there was some post you wrote back in 2004 in the same humorous way you wrote this one. What I do recall is being impressed with it and wondering, who's this skippy the bush kangaroo? He's pretty funny.

So I kept dropping in. And the rest is history...

Hey, Raw Story says Bush got six standing ovations in Oklahoma.

Screw this nonsense of some governors threatening to secede.

Let's amend the constitution so that we can throw out states by majority vote of all US voters.
