i, bot

we heart memeorandum. it's one place to get a quick view of both left and right realtime blog headlines @ the moment. and, when the memeorandum bots include skippy in their link analyses, you can't beat the traffic that comes to our humble space here.

but those bots are a bit undiscerning, ie, stupid. for example, we are amused that the memeorandum bots included the yellow pages logo on the alaskan daily news headline about palin.

the yellow pages logo was simply an ad on the page. we appreciate that the bots are following the three asimov rules of robotics, and haven't actually harmed a human. but shouldn't "annoying the hell out of people" also be considered?
