the real reason for arlen spector's party change?

i think it's because he can't afford to lose his government paid healthcare. he wouldn't be able to buy health insurance on his own because of his little bouts with cancer.

you know those pesky "pre-existing" conditions.

Plus Jill...who would try to stay in a party where the party leaders came to ya saying,"We don't like you as much as this new guy...so we are not gonna help you anymore and we Are gonna help him to beat you"..????
And I guess the Dems guaranteed him a clear field on their side if he switched; and near as I can tell that has not happened after he switched...so, who actually knows anymore???

By now the politicians have it set up to get free medical insurance for life after a short time in elected office (seem to remember 6 years was the time period in Michigan) on either the state or federal level. You didn't think they played by the same rules as the rest of us, did you???????????

The word is fearm, hmmmm, fearem!!
