my god, they've ruined everything

alfafa sprout warning issued - usatoday.com: "

the food and drug administration is recommending consumers not eat raw alfalfa sprouts until further notice because the popular crunchy greens have been linked to a salmonella saintpaul outbreak in six states.
officials believe infected seeds, sold nationwide, are the source of the outbreak. the warning does not include bean and other types of sprouts.

there have been 31 cases of salmonella saiwtpaul in michigan, minnesota, pennsylvania, south dakota, utah, and west Virginia linked to alfalfa sprouts.

ewww .....people actually Eat that stuff???
I mean , I know horseys like it ok ...but two legged people???
Just go get a nice egg-mcmuffin...or whatever is the "acceptable" food wherever you live...
Face it...the healthy stuff is quickly becoming the food of the wealthy.....
I don't know if this Is by design or simply the result of "market forces"...but the result is the same...
Regular Joes and Janes cannot afford to buy food that is guaranteed to be free of microbes and contaminants...
So, they are forced to eat at fast food places... or consume only the Bulk food types that they Can afford from places like Wal Mart and then it is still a slight risk...
Am I ranting about the inequality of Class??? Well yeah, I am when it comes to the point of not being able to get food that is safe to eat...I tend to rant...
