skippy's thursday nite music club

she & him - why do you let me stay here?

forgettable song but funny video...cutest depiction of decapitation and bloody death this side of happy tree friends...

and yes, that is bones' sister...

on a meta note, once again we must complain about bands and their record companies that disable embedding by request @ youtube. because of such, we were unable to bring you songs by the fray and ingrid michaelson tonite.

don't music companies realize that disabling embedding is like making songs unplayable on certain radios that didn't pay enough payola? how do they expect their aritsts and acts to find a following if the videos can't be played?

trust us, it's their loss and not yours that we can't bring you those artists. there's plenty of folks that want their music to be heard...

I see a large and undeclared struggle taking place...some industry folk are attempting to grow and make headway into the information storm that the intertoobes represent, and some are old school..."F&^k 'Em if they didn't Pay !!"...and it is those people currently in control...
Isn't that the same girl in the movie ,"Failure to Launch" ???
Or do I need more glasses...?
yes, it is.

Ooh, it must be Double-Special night tonight, skippy!

Wowee, Zooey D! ...... Who knew? ...... Her voice is simply magnificent and those songs at the link are incredible.

Thank you, skip! I enjoyed that soooooo much.

I'm so with you on the embedding thing, skippy. It's possible to make one's own video from the YouTube versions and post it, but that shouldn't be necessary. It's really short-sighted of them.

I find Zooey more charming than her sister, not that it's a contest.

i used to love bones and emily's work on it, till they made series regular character zack into a bad-guy serial killer just for a surprise plot point. now, alas, i watch no more.
