i said they should quit carrying fox news because one of their reporters suggested it would be great if obama was killed. america doesn't need this kind of trash on tv.

Good! I would do it too but I do not have cable. I get my news from alternative sources.

Fox news is not news but propaganda.
But we all know that.
Good you for you, Skippy. I also sent out e-mail to national publications alerting them to this story.

"...because one of their reporters.."

Liz Trotta is not a FNC reporter.

scotth, did she get paid for saying that or not?

She's not "a FNC repoter" is not good enough. She was on FNC. She is a contributer. She's got a bio on their website.

But it's all ok for someone to wish the death of anyone, just so long as that person isn't an employee of FNC, right? That's how your logic goes.

Well reporter or not she is a truly horrible human being.

That bullshit "Osama...Obama" so called "mistake" they keep making is really getting ridiculous. The sad part is that there is a segment of the population that it works with.

Well at least this helps to explain why Fox News has recently become Hillary's favorite news outlet.

Here's something I posted at another blog...I don't comment that much and don't feel like typing the damn thing again, but thought some might find it interesting:

In 1968 I was rigging shrapnel-ridden helicopters out of a very scary Special Forces encampment named Thuong Duc, RVN. The place was under constant mortar barrage, so my ship left me on the ground to await a hook driver foolhardy enough to attempt a recovery.

Around dusk, after several tense hours of listening to increasingly bad news from the radio in the command bunker, I got word the recoveries were being called off. During a lull in the mortar fire, my helicopter landed and I ran out to make a getaway. As I boarded the aircraft, I noticed Ms. Trotta and a TV camera crew pop out of their hiding places and scramble towards us anticipating a lift out of that hellhole. We were loaded to the limits of weight and space, so I had to jump out and frantically motion them back to the bunkers. As darkness fell, our ship made its escape from the valley while an AC-47 crew lit up the sky with its miniguns. I felt really bad about leaving somebody to spend the night in an outpost under siege and hoped they would somehow find a safe way out.

After reading Ms. Trotta’s recent views on political assassination, I don’t feel that bad anymore.

scotth,

While it may be true that she is not a FNC reporter, the FNC employee interviewing her said nothing to note the nature of her comment other than "Tell us how you really feel.". That's just as reprehensible.

So, when do we get to declare open season on Fox News "contributors"?
