rovian highschool mocking mentality

coming from a candidate "some would say" is republican light.

"some would say, let's get everybody together, let's get unified. the sky will open. (crowd laughs). the light will come down. celestial choirs will be singing. and everyone will know we should do the right thing and the world will be perfect."

mocking a fellow democratic party presidential candidate after saying that there was honor in being on the same stage as him. mocking americans who choose obama over her. mocking those who hold religious beliefs...on sunday no less.
i don't know who is advising the clinton camp...but it seems that they really don't want the woman in the white house.

huffpo has the video up now.

Even though I wouldn't support her, she has a point. The messianic groupthink surrounding his campaign is ridiculous.

Once in a while, Obama makes a passing reference to our diminishing individual liberties, but hardly ever in his stump speeches. At an early-morning rally the day of the New Hampshire vote, he told some 300 students at the Dartmouth College gym: "My job this morning is to be so persuasive . . . that a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Barack."

obama has been mocking hillary and edwards in his rallies for a long time now. and dailykobama and huffpobama are hardly credible sources; they're in the same tank that the mainstream media is.

Gryphobama here and i have to say that this is simply another desperate attempt by the Clinton camp to try and kick mud on Obama's shoes.

If you don't think that the crap Hillary has pulled is not insulting to our intelligence then just imagine if the same tactics had been employed by the Obama camp.

The media would have crucified him for any one of thee ridiculous attacks.

This is way overblown. Clinton's comments are nothing more than the mildest of campaign hot air. Seriously.

Oh, and theres an open italics tag somewhere.

I don't see any "messianic groupthink" around Obama's campaign. I see a candidate who thinks this country has not been living up to its ideals, and that we can do much better. What is he calling for that's "messianic"? Health care coverage? An end to the Iraq war? Money and resources spent on affordable housing and job creation instead of on war and tax cuts for the rich?

I mean, maybe that sounds "messianic" to some because we haven't heard anyone in a position of authority say it for eons.

My problem with what Hillary said and the way she said it in that video is that she comes across as a "can't do" candidate. Abandon all hope, ye who vote for me, is what she's saying in effect. I'm committing to nothing. I'm the candidate of lowered expectations.

Not a very appealing message, in my view -- especially at this particular time when people are so hungry for change. And yes, that's what Michelle Obama said, and she was absolutely right. People ARE hungry for change. They're not looking for a candidate who tells them right out of the gate that change ain't gonna happen.

un-fucking-believable! Personally, I wouldn't walk across the street to have a beer with Hillary OR her husband. Fuck 'em.

Note to Barack and Hillary: don't make me vote for Ralph Nader. I did it once. I'll do it again if I think I have to...
