b.a.d. gratitude

we'd like to take a moment to acknowledge what a resounding success blogroll amnesty day weekend turned out to be.

from the largest to the smallest blogs in blogtopia and yes, we coined that phrase, the spirit of sharing and cooperation could be felt from here to just outside of duncan's house. thanks to everyone who participated.

we'd especially like to say thank you to our partner in crime, jon swift, who had the idea for this year's celebration. we'd also like to thank blue gal for helping spread the word, and the blogs of the liberal blog advertising network for pitching in.

also, a big thanks to brad blog for allowing us to guest post about b.a.d. and thanks to every other blog, from a-list to z-list, and everyone inbetween, for participating.

addendum: we were a bit remiss in thanking everyone who helped spread the word. jon swift rightly points out we owe a debt of gratitude to stephen at drinking liberally in new milford and kevin at american street, who inspired the idea. thanks much, gentlemen!

we know we have promised to add quite a few new blogs to our rolls. you'll have to be patient with us; blogroll amnesty day proved to be much more administrative work than we thought, so it will be a few days before we are caught up.

also, if we failed to mention your contribution to b.a.d., please forgive us. the adventure was so much bigger than we thought, and so many people responded favorably, we are sure we left someone out. we apologize!

but rest assured that, as the buddhist bloggers say, blog karma exists, and , simply by particpating, it will come back to you 10 fold.

Thank you very much skippy for everything you did, which was considerable. It wouldn't have worked without you. Hey, Skippy! I wasn't around for the original amnesty day, but I sure am enjoying the fuck out of this first anniversary celebration. Thanks for all you've done.
