this is a-paul-ling!

cnn doesn't heart ron paul...

we know we've been ribbing the guy and his supporters, but we have to admit that there is a definite anti-paulist attitude on the screeching heads news networks.

we were just watching the new hampshire primary results on cnn, and the graphic was a large pie chart, showing each candidate with a corresponding slice of the pie...mccain w/38%, romney w/29%, huckabee w/12%, and giuliani w/9%. then there were two other slices...one about the size of giulani's, and a little teeny tiny piece.

(sorry, we couldn't find an online representation of this pie chart...so you'll just have to imagine it.)

then cnn showed the numbers in a list; the list was comprised of data as described above...but it showed ron paul w/9% (as well as thompson w/1%).

so whoever made the pie chart graphic could not be bothered to point out that ron paul was doing as well as guiliani [ed. note: as of this writing, things have changed a bit, and rudy has pulled out a whole 1% ahead of paul).

it's hard to dismiss cnn's dismissal of ron paul. this is two primaries in a row where the blimpie has done as well or better than the golden boy of 9/11...and yet nobody bothers to say as much.
