romney wins in michigan, nbc wins in nevada

cnn:

with 10 percent of precincts reporting, romney had 37 percent of the vote compared to arizona sen. john mccain's 31 percent. former arkansas gov. mike huckabee had 16 percent of the vote, followed by texas rep. ron paul with 7 percent. former tennessee sen. fred thompson had 4 percent, and former new york mayor rudy giuliani trailed with 3 percent.
notice that ron paul has once again beat out rudy 9ui11ani.

meanwhile, hillary clinton has pulled in 63% of the dem vote, against uncommitted and dennis kucinich. the otehr dem candidates had pulled their names off the ballot because the dem national committee has declared the delegates from michigan invalid because michigan didn't do what the dnc said to, nyah nyah ne nyah nyah.

party officials voted to strip michigan of its democratic delegates for its decision to schedule the primary so early.

in a show of solidarity with the party, the top-tier democratic presidential candidates, except for clinton, asked that their names be removed from the ballot.

but some democratic leaders in the state urged supporters of sen. barack obama of illinois and former north carolina sen. john edwards, clinton's closest rivals, to vote "uncommitted" in the primary.
meanwhile, in nevada, nbc got a reprieve at the last possible minute from a nevada state judge, who ruled that the network did not have to include dennis "the menace" kucinich. nytimes:

the nevada supreme court ruled tuesday that msnbc is not required to include candidate dennis kucinich in its scheduled democratic presidential debate.

the seven-member court overturned monday’s ruling by a nevada district court judge.

the decision, which came one hour before the debate was scheduled to begin in las vegas, meant that mr. kucinich would not share the stage with the party’s three leading contenders, hillary rodham clinton, barack obama and john edwards. the debate is expected to begin at 9 p.m. eastern on msnbc.
so the biggest loser seems to be kucinich. and anyone who has to listen to chris matthews.

Wow, Rudy not only came in behind Ron Paul, but got less than half his percentage of the vote.

That's it, the terrorists have won!
