let the california democratic party know how you feel

as many of you may know, a recent grass-roots resolution to censure sen. dianne feinstein in the state democratic party failed to make it to the floor to be voted on for passage.

over at c&l, guest blogger julia rosen of the cal state democratic party has the specific particulars as to who, how and why the resolution died.

simply put, cal. dem. state party senior advisor (julia translates this as "paid staffer") bob mulholland did everything he could to block this resolution, saying that the grassroots activists who supported it were "fringe" and "pre-nursing home."

while we love a good insult, we do expect it to make sense, and "pre-nursing home" leaves us blinking in confusion. is that like pre-cancerous? or pre-owned?

anyway, if you're one of the 33,000 people who signed on to support the resolution, and are a bit angry at mulholland's bad metaphors, you may want to let him know directly how you feel.

one of the commentors at c&l directs us to the california state democratic party blog, where mr. mulholland wrote a post about veterans. you can leave a comment there!

now, be nice! no name-calling! unless it makes sense!

"As a Veteran, and a person that continues to fight for and uphold my oath to The Constitution of the United States of America, I find your efforts to belittle and denigrate those of us with the spine and fortitude to take action as anything less than patriotic quite offensive.

I only wish that Dianne Feinstein took her oath to uphold The Constitution as seriously as our side does. If she did, this would not be an issue. As it is, censure really is not enough of a punishment for failure to perform her duties, and for her failure to uphold her oath."

I hope he blows a gasket when he reads the comments... There are some doozies in there.
