i'm going on a retreat this weekend

should be interesting.

spirit and nature: spiritual resources for sustainable living

spiritual paths institute and la casa de maria will present a weekend retreat on spirituality and the environment. the retreat will bring together environmental activists, spiritual teachers, local clergy, and educators to share spiritual insights and practices that can provide a foundation for environmentally sustainable ways of living. spiritual traditions will include buddhism, christianity, hinduism, islam, judaism, and native american.

solving such global crises of climate change, the loss of biodiversity, air, and water pollution requires us to develop new and deeper ways of connecting with the earth and with each other. for many, this means tapping into spiritual experiences, values, communities, and cultivating a new sense of purpose and hope.
