you and media

makethemaccountable sends us a batch of goodies:

fox news is covering iraq half as much as other cable networks;

the latimes tells its readers to "shut up" (and we aren't surprised, considering the readers' reaction to the times' editorial last sunday;

keith olbermann's countdown is doing so well that nbc is going to air a show before one of its sunday football games (nothing goes together like politics and football!)

and here's an interesting piece by john baer asking why the media doesn't discuss candidates ideas, but spends time on the horse race and popularity contest aspects of the campaign.
