saturday nite sci fi geek corner
here's the characters from every single star trek program (except, thankfully, "enterprise") doing the time warp from rocky horror picture show.
and, we never thought it possible, but we reluctantly have to agree...we finally found someone we like more than tom baker.

it seems to me that tennant encorporates all the best of the past doctors...as if they all regenerated into this new form...and i don't know if that's a conscious decision on the part of tennant as an actor, but it's coming across pretty well, imo.
I never cared for Doctor Who, but the Star Trek version of "Time Warp" is a thing of beauty. I can't wait to see what they do with "Sweet Transvestite"...
My wife would suffer through WHO Eccelston, She would not tolerate Baker (I think that the PAL video format messes with her head) and she got kinda pissed when K-9 showed up for an episode. As she finally warmed up to Eccleston, she got Tennant.
She didn't like Tennant until the series two finale, and now she gets more excited to see it than I do.
I think it's because Tennant is Scottish and all Scottish men are more desirable (by a factor of 6) than men of the rest of the world. You know, like my wife's husband. :)
I like Tennant a lot. I hope he actually stays on for awhile.

I was so disappointed by Eccelston, and so surprised by Tennant. I have to agree, he's the best ever.
Of course Tom Baker was great, but I always prefered Peter Davidson. I never expected to see a doctor I liked as well. Now if the writing would only improve.

yeah, but the ultimate test is, can he get away with a velvet jacket and a frilly shirt? Only the true doctor and Jimi can do that.

to be honest, jon pertwee is right up there in my top three fav doctors!

I think ... yeah, I'm going with Tennant reluctantly ( I feel like I'm cheating on my first Doctor)
