My first trip to San Francisco, I had to go the Fillmore. Wayne Newton could have been playing, and I still would have gone.

Opening act was "It's a Beautiful Day", but headlining was "The Yardbirds", featuring lead gutar by some dud I'd never seen before, who did a couple of solos with a violin bow.
