computer hard drive missing at security agency.

maybe they're looking for it when they force us to take off our shoes at l.a.x.
the transportation security administration is trying to find a computer hard drive with social security numbers and bank and payroll information for 100,000 employee records. the agency said it realized on thursday that the drive was missing from a controlled area at its headquarters. “it is unclear at this stage whether the device is still within headquarters or was stolen,” a statement said. the agency asked the f.b.i. and the secret service to investigate, the statement said. the drive had information on employees who worked for the homeland security agency from january 2002 to august 2005. - nytimes
oh, yeah...i'm feeling so much safer with these keystone cops in charge.
