remember, a moral victory is still a victory

seriously, kids...the very fact that hillary clinton stood up (or sat down, rather), and asked hard questions of donald rumsfeld (three years too late, but still...); the very fact that time magazine gave lieberman a down arrow in their conventional wisdom column; the very fact that david brooks and david broder and others of their ilk are decrying the nutty anti-war left as insurgents, destroying the democratic party; the very fact that people are talking about this whole race...well, kids, it's a sign that we're having an effect.

make no mistake, no one would be more pleased than us here at skippy international to see a ned lamont win (well...maybe someone we can think of would be). but it's a close, close race, as the new polls are telling us.

so, if you are within driving distance of connecticut, drive there. if not, virtual phone bank.

but whatever happens, remember...we are making a difference. and they know it.

and they don't like it one bit.

addendum: david sirota arrived at the same conclusion we did, miles apart. amazing!
