repubbbs hate veterans

thinkprogress reports that for the first time in 55 years, veterans groups will no longer have the chance to address the house and senate veterans committees, after the repubbbs (read: tom delay) replaced house affairs' veterans committee chairman chris smith, who was very much on the veterans' side, with steve buyer, who announced the termination of the long-standing traditional courtesy.
